For Guinevere...
Roses tilt toward the sun
Stretching wide their ardor
With crimson fingers to embrace you

'Tis a wistful fragrance
Dancing on the air
Bringing you memory of a warm summer moon

And I just a boy
Looking out from afar
At your beauty and grace cascading in blue

Guinevere with a voice
Dappled songs on a breeze
A name with illusions of violet so hued

Pirouette with the grass
Flowers tempt summer’s breath
And I still in the trees wrought by beauty's swoon

Adore me, adore me!
Sweet Guinevere laughs
Adore me sweet summer, let me lose this in you!

How I wish to be summer!
Warm and playful at last!
Summer which lady loves, for my winds to embrace you!

My lady of old
Guinevere with her eyes
Charm the lilacs and sunrise with your cascading blue

I will sit still and wish
For winter's distress
Of nights cold and dark when I can't think of you

Ah, the dreams of a boy
Kissed by Guinevere's breeze
And the sight of her dancing 'neath a warm summer moon.
