short poem a lesson of life and love
I thought I knew him...

Some would say they believe in love at first sight.
I ask, is that truly right?

Sometimes it seems, that we fall so easily...
Believing and trusting only what our eyes see

I thought I knew him...

I gave him my body, my soul, my heart...
I never imagined us apart.

I cooked, cleaned and even encouraged..
I hoped oneday, there would be marriage

Hmm...

I thought I knew him...

Then he left with her..
someone that KNEW him

all I could do is whisper....
I thought I knew him...
