Exactly what the title says
This is the time I saw my father,
springing sure-footed ahead of me
wound tight in age.
We emerge from ferns into scattered light
on to flat rocks by a pool.

Reflected, stilled
in the place where two visions meet;
A broken leaf;
A fragment of family.

We may fit poorly
but do we need to be self assured all the time?
