Why is the girl in the mirror

Everything I want to be?

Why does the girl in the mirror,

See everything I want to see?

Why is the girl in the mirror

So happy and so carefree.

Why is the girl in the mirror

Not me?



Why is the girl in the mirror

Look to be so strong?

How does the girl in the mirror

Stand when life's all wrong?

When does the girl in the mirror

Find reasons to believe?

And why is the girl in the mirror

Not me?
