i wrote this during my first pregnancy (1996)for my daughter, emmalee
Babies are blue or pink,
it doesn't really matter.
They cry, they fuss,
they coo, they smile.
So tiny, yet i see,
God's amazing ability.

The love for my unborn baby
grows as does the child itself.
It feels flutters of feet
on my uterine wall.
It smells johnson & johnson aroma,
drifting on the breeze.
It hears the tiny cry,
not yet able to project.
It tastes strange foods
i've not wanted before.
It looks
big, round and full.

Yes, this is the love
for my unborn baby.
Mama's boy,
or mama's girl :)
