about cutting
Thoughts racing in my head

Blood oozing from my arm

warm feeling of relief as

the blood pours from my wound

The burning pain of the razor

calms me as is slides again

across my arm.

My thoughts slow down.

I feel calm as I clean and

cover my secret sham.

I tell no one and go to bed.

I will sleep well tonight.
