A love letter not meant for my eyes.
A folded piece of paper
In amongst your things.
Full of love and emotions.
Full of hopes and dreams.

I found it when I was cleaning
It took my breath from me.
The feelings in that letter
Told of how beautiful love can be.

To describe love so perfectly
It's not an easy task to do.
I only wish that letter
Was to me from you.

After twenty years of marriage
I could not believe what I had learned.
To be fooled by you completely
My suspisions were confirmed.

Confronting you with my discovery,
You pleaded, begged and cried.
Even though we are still married,
My love for you has died.
