A poem I wrote on my return to Australia after working in New Zealand for 12 months.
          ' WHERE BE NIRVANA'

My life has coursed like winding streams
through dense jungles with fractured light beams
I freely flow toward an endless sea
A receeding blue sky is now what I see

I've spewed forth into a vast ocean
to ride the tides in ceasless motion
I seek Nirvana and hazard a guess where
the sky must surrender and touch this earth somewhere

To find this paradise is a wish I hold dear
but the horizons distance i've become to fear
I drift in travel and appear to get near
then reality bites and lifes uglies they rear

And so it seems that upon this earth
I must again, return to the land of my birth
With a heavy heart I steer for home
holding unfilled dreams and all alone

Even though home be a feathered nest
to catch the horizon is still my quest
For a restless one like I it does seem
a life of adventure has been deemed

Paradise found is where the heat is indeed
In this, I must, I do believe
So it appears lifes path, undoubtably, does lead
to Nirvana not lost, just hidden in need
