The wind was chilly against her face.

Her dark hair was blowing into her empty eyes.

She felt her heart pumping in her chest.

Thudding. Crashing against her body.

She looked down,

and saw the cold hard end staring up at her.

Voices all around here were screaming.

The voices in her head were loud.

The voices in her heart were louder.

With all the chaos around her,

she spread her wings.

Looked down once more,

and jumped.

But her intention was not to fly.
