This is about overcoming things in your past that seem difficult.
Hallways filled with blood and veins made of steel
But I can't take the blame for what I don't feel
A life filled with hate and a heart full of mistakes
I never meant to hold on to what I couldn't make
Make of the mistakes that I filed into my consciousness
My mind is my paradise, but also my abyss
My demons haunt me; my angels save me
Their celestial wings set me free

Letting go... Never looking back

A life and a love composed of glass
Fall to the ground with a silence crash
A hate and a pride you thought you knew
But you won't know until you break, too

Letting go... Never looking back

Staring into my eyes from the mirror
Is the devils that I have known forever
But do you know them as well?
Well enough to be at home in their hell?
In the nights that I slept lonely
And you slept soundly

Letting go... Never looking back
Leaving this... Never coming back
