Danger in Cat Food

One day, while I was watching the news on television, the anchorwoman announced "Danger has been found in cat food."
At that moment my cat Blondie decided to jump up on my lap.
"A woman checking a can of cat food discovered bits of bone in it." a woman announced.
"She bought another can of cat food at another store and found bits of bone in that food also. It turned out that the cat food from both stores was made by the same company and sold under the store house brand."
This did not affect me because I bought only dry cat food with a brand name that I knew. I tried canned cat food but it had a gross smell.
I wonder if Blondie knew what was being said. Or was it a coincidence?
