A Poem about the broken heart of a young lady.
The music plays still
Even after you've moved on
I feel quite sad walking
And dancing to this song

I miss you and cry
For you're never here when it's on
The lock to my heart, twisted and broken
And the doors forever shut
It will never open except for you, my love

I twirl and I swirl
Around the music, I dance
Until my toes, bloody rosy red
My mind starts to fog
And my memory jogs
I remember all the good times
Before you were lost

At last I fall to the place I belong
My body forever there
I hope you will be next to me soon,
Saying I missed and loved you so
I'll keep on wishing, my mind and heart
Your music will keep playing even though mine is not
So I'll keep on waiting
till we are free, unbounded by the chains
free to love one another, once again
