This is about living in prison with certain issues of reality that only inmates can see.
A stranger is watching the eyes of a young killer with hate,
I know we did wrong, "but shit," why torture us behind gate?..
And people wonder why us convicted felons raise so much hell,
maybe because were humans who are being spit on inside our cell...
These stangers expect us to give respect when were being treated like dirt,
I know we act like we dont care but, mentally we hurt...
At times, I sit back and say to myself "I wish I was dead,"
but my family is the reason why I decide to move ahead...
This explicit lifestyle is hard if you look behind the scenes,
you'll see nothing but lost souls run around because their feins...
Another child turns man as he experiences the life of a thug,
the place where he stands is a battle field with no love...
Restricted from a life where dreams are meant to be,
the only way out for us is too turn to God and be set free...
But all these strangers who are watching the eyes of us felons,
are turning us out, making us deny Gods' Heavens...
