Observatons: Watching nature go by, from swallows high to trout staying low.
I Wish I Was .

I look at these fabulous trees, swaying gently in the breeze,
Fluttering leaves shimmering in the sun,
Reflecting various shades of glittering fun.

Above on high the swallows fly,
Searching and soaring as they glide with problems aside,
They sweep and bank over the rivers tide.

Within the water the brown trout roams,
Its glistening sides reflecting the summer light,
Creating prisms in their watery world.

The tractor makes its straight path,
To harvest hay  to feed the farmers stock,
Always under the gaze of the sparrow hawks eyes.

The field mouse oblivious to the staring danger,
Forages for food and returns to his grass manger,
And shuts his eyes to sleep the heat away.

The admiral flies from bloom to bloom,
And the bumble stirs the still air,
And make his way here and there.

Oh a wonderful sight this summer day,
To watch the world make its way,
But the humans rush and clatter.

Within the world what other specie rushes
Catching trains and buses.
Trying to catch the latest .

Yes we are fools, us human kind,
Always on the make, more profit to find,
I bet the creatures have easy minds.

All our efforts to make a living,
Taking giving receiving, losing, wanting, hating.
I wish I was a bird.

End.
