Ethereal wishing
Please tell me you're real
Something more than a dream
You must be more than just the product
Of my ethereal wishing
But if my fears are realized
And you are indeed a figment
Of my peaceful slumber
Hold me tight until the morning
And I shall dread the dawn
When your arms will fade
Upon the opening of my eyes
