a short poem with questions
i'm so far away

"You'll get there, you'll get there" some say.........

But I laugh knowing heart & dream
don't connect in the same way.
Love and heart leave me stranded,
The dream is in the rainy day.


i say soon,

"patience, patience", they implore.

Death is no finality,
this drama dreams on and on.
Life holds some prizes there,
but certainty is what I want,
Certainty is what is gone.
