Vampire Poem
On a dare you took this bet
Laughing at your friends
Saying you’re going to regret.
There is nothing to fear but fear it seems
But then again nothing is ever what it seems.

Look through the night by the full moons beam
At first it may not appear
But be patient soon it will be here.

Soon you will wish you hadn’t come out tonight.
The creatures will have you in their sight.
Your blood they will drain
Leaving you in so much pain.

As slowly your body dies
Your eyes blankly staring at the night sky.
A black silhouette with wings outstretched
Reaches down for you but he’s not heaven sent.

The rest of you he has come to claim
Softly he whispers in your ear
Don’t be afraid my dear.
Your body must die so it can live.
Among the undead
Your new kin.
