In a gentle rage of fury
A fence was constructed
Vigilantly gathered of cedar
Drizzling an essence of history
From the earth placed inside.

The brownness camouflaged it.
The sap drained through the wires
Electrifying the directions
You became my hogan.

A simple faith to the alter
The bitterness of our medicine
Delivering harmony to the waltzing clouds
You wedged this plunging feather.

Redeemed from the blessed waters
I drowned in.
Illuminated by smoke from last night’s ceremony.
We discovered a new verse
Invisible to the scriptures pursued by a heart
Shattered.
Unforgiving.

To forgive is to forget the insulted soul
Punctured by the piercing thought
Stoned by the recollections of purity
Amplified by prayer.

Deities clothe the nakedness of the dawn
Comprised of materials-
Soft goods
Hard goods
Brought together to symbolize this tradition.

An ornament on an emerald wall
Embellished by skins of time labeled memories.
I bid to you.
The charity of life to pity me.
Under the influence, pity me.

I motion in all hopes-

Cedar is released to you.
