about my highschool marching band
All of a sudden Sauke gives us the hint,
To our places we all sprint.
We all look back to check our lines,
But they are not straight they look like vines.
Then we fix them the best that they can be,
Then we saw how happy Mr. Sauke can be.

As we are marching we all hear, “right, Left, right“,
While we are playing clear, loud and bright.
As we march down the street,
We dread the sound of Doctor beat.
Even thought it hurts our ears,
Today that isn’t one of our fears.

The Biggest Fear that we all had,
Was that we could walk away today very sad.
So as we march on the street,
We all realized that we could not be beat.
As the song is over we notice this is it,
This is the end we can all finally sit.

As we sit to hear our rating,
We all hate to be kept waiting.
Then we are criticized for what was done,
All we wanted to do was have a little fun.
But in the end we could not cheat.
And we were told that, “It’s true you can’t be beat!”
Even though we had lots of fun,
We really received it … “We got number ONE!”
