Trapped inside your own thoughts.
Waiting for a Perfect Place



She waits in this place
A place she used to call home
Staring at the walls
Thinking, waiting, watching, wasting away
She tries to remember being happy
No one was ever there
Nobody cared
She listens to the melodic emptiness
Of a room once filled with light
Sinking, slipping. Drowning in this place
The comfort of the darkness blankets her
She welcomes the night
