New poem, October 31, 2007.
the sun peeking through trees

the night lifts unto the heavens above

i shiver; quiver,

into the depths of dying love

a heart once pure, pounding in the summers rain,

left here to lie, in winters cry,

hardened by the chill of pain

i'm left to wonder,

where once were the clasps of thunder,

only to be erased; replaced,

the flowers in vibrant color,

by the glamor of frosts,

turned drab; folded under

for these are the lands,

unto which i shamelessly blunder

so lost in my directions,

how costly were the predictions,

my mind shutters in a tranquil fog

tears frozen unto my cheeks,

in my bed of broken glass

eager; i am to sob

amongst the frozen dangers,

a mind burns amidst the angers

for there is nothing left to love

gone....

are the calls of the meadow dove

alone.....

as the bitter snows fall from high above

i close my eyes,

forever more,

i am to pray,

for here....in this heart,

december everyday

to feel the warmth once more,

i would give it all,

give it all away,

the bitter cold,

of a broken heart,

alas....december everyday
