Simple Poem...
Wonders

In childhood, still young,

I was joyful with my red sky, blue grass,

and other wonders only I saw.

My world I created.

Wisdom constricts my vision.

The sky is now blue,

the clouds white, swirling, drifting

past the sunny anchor.

Aged eyes, knowledgeable, turn

The grass green

the robins gray, hopping, searching,

grubbing, wary of cats.

The world as it is

longing for wonders I can't see anymore.
