poem i wrote after continuous events that went wrong over a period of a couple months
The Reaper

As I live in fear
with these lies we share
burdened with blame
forever insane

nowhere to run
nowhere to hide
nobody cares
what I hide inside

the reaper is haunting
my hollow soul
I cant get away
and he just wont go

its hell on earth
but only I can see
all the flames
that are surrounding me

the reaper's knocking
once again
I try to ignore him
but I only give in

so i'll keep living
these wasteful nights
forever in doubt
with no way out
