a poemabout the struggles a girl faces when her first love dumps her.
You left me here, standing alone
I watched you go with your heart of stone
You were silent, gave no reason why
I was hurt, I cried and cried and cried.
You said we were over, without remorse
I accepted your silence as a matter of course
And now you're with her, that stupid whore
And you don't even think about me anymore.
So I'll write you a song, and let my heart break,
And hope you'll come back when you see how I ache.
But deep down inside I know you're long gone,
And I also know that I can move on.
Now I've written the poem and dried my tears,
And survived the emptieness, fought the fears.
And now it's years gone, and you're still gone away,
But guess what you fucking mutt, I'm better anyway!
