It's a poem about a bird. There isn't that much to tell about it.
There once was a bird,
As black as coal,
It lived in a tree,
And never got cold,
It sang a song,
As beautiful as snow,
It had yellow eyes,
That were small,
He was injured,
And was found,
Found by a boy,
Who brought him back to health,
When he could fly again,
He always flew by,
And the boy waved.
