A sonnet about two dragons fighting.
Shadows gliding 'cross the gloom,
Unknown horrors ride the sky.
Spiraling towards possible doom,
Determined fliers winging by.

Auric scales, brave and steadfast,
Arctic scales, much more pale,
Rising towards what may be their last,
Neither sure of which shall fail.

Colliding head-on into battle,
Fang and talon meet in air.
From their throats then comes a rattle,
The sky is lit in sudden flare.

Fire and ice race 'cross the sky,
This is the way that dragons die.
