A poem about a relationship over many years. Constructive criticism welcome.
When the wind blows
I hear your name whispered softly.
Memories of yesterday whirl
round and round.

When the wind blows
I can remember your face.
A smile that touched my heart,
a twinkle that crept in on a
breeze.

When the wind blows
I see the past so clearly.
Time we spent in wonder of the
world.

When the wind blows
The memories of time come roaring
to the present.
Our time was but a wisp,
Our lives but a moment.

When the wind blows
I wonder why you were taken from
me.
A life time of memories
are all that are left.

When the wind blows
I realize that we are not apart.
The wind is the souls of all
who have been.
When the breeze kisses my face
I can feel your embrace.

When the wind blows
I am not alone.
