A poem love letter I wrote to my girlfriend.
What Can I Say?

What can I say that I've not already said?
What path can I take that I've not already tread?
For surely I've tried and tried again
To put my love down on paper with pen
Now I see it's impossible, it can't be done
Yet still my words onto paper do run
For I can't help but write of my love for you
You! My Princess! My dream come true!
I love you more than you'll ever know
I need you more than I can possibly show
Before I fall asleep, you're the last thing I see
And when I awake, thoughts of you greet me
And even between, you inhabit my dreams
What, my darling, could all of this mean?
That I want you in my life for all time
If that is wrong, book me on the crime
Your laugh is amazing, in so many ways
It brings joy to me on even the worst of days
I thank God for you, my love and my heart
I can't wait till the day we don't have to be apart
My Darling, My Beauty, My wonderful Cari
I dream of the day that you and I marry
