Just a poem of fears
~The Fear~

What do I fear?
The thoughts of certain things,
for which the past has brought and the present brings.
The thoughts of lost friends.
Their broken hearts to mend.
The thoughts of death and despair,
For which every man is the heir.
The thoughts of inhumanity,
Sucking the life out of me.

Why us?
Why not us.
Why is darkness just a word for which to describe the absence of light?
Why do we always try to bring up a fight?
Why does the darkness always taste better than the light?
Is it just a fear being covered up by might?!
Or is it just darkness dwelling within this embodiment?
Shall we learn?
I think not.

So for the fright that comes within the night,
Turn away, and seek the light.
No more to fear those dreadful things
No more worry of what the past has brought and the present brings.
