Quiters never win.......they only fall further into their despair
Hiding from the world
Running from my past
Feeling so insecure
Coated like a cast
Hair standing on edge
Shivers down my spine
Goose bumps across my skin
Nothing seems alright
Voices in my head
Screaming through my ears
Things that are unsaid
Comes alive all of my fears
Eyes darting around
Can't see what's not there
Feeling something’s wrong
But still it's only air
Curled into a ball
Trying to feel protected
Reaching out for help
But sadly am rejected
Skin cold to the touch
Eyes pierce out like knives
Voice scratchy and rough
Filled with all her lies
Shes lost herself on the way
And couldn't make her way out
Nothing could be done
When she filled herself with doubt
She had to make it on her own
But the world got the better of her
Did she have strengths she could've shown?
I guess we'll never know for sure
