The binding between Humans and Books
Understanding Knowledge

Have you ever been in doubt?
My sweet darling lady, Have
You ever seen the light disappear
Into the hole which is night?
Well take a walk down that path
And you shall see the library in which
The books have the power, knowledge
Hungry humans feast on the scripture
As they rip open the bindings and eat
Each line form left to right
All the books stand united in strict
Formation awaiting the humans initial
Attack, united they stand but quickly
Divide up into the devouring hungry
Hands, no surrender is signaled,
No forgiveness will be given, commence
The great bombardment on knowledge
For the humans seek to feast and
Fulfill their thirst for power, In this
Battle there is no victor for it is just
Ally fighting ally, we humans and you
Books have much in common, you are held
Back by shelves just as we are held back
By society, can you see how great it could
Be to escape our boundaries, the
Greatest similarity between humans and books
Is that both of us have a need to be
Understood
