A poem about the man I thought didn't exist. But I was wrong. =)
Some people look at me
And pretend to understand
Others recognize need
And offer to hold my hand

You opened your arms
And invited my in
You held me close
Said I’d never have to cry again

I knew you could see
The pain in my eyes
You stuck it out with me
Through all my lows and highs

Now as I lie here
Wrapped up in you
You whisper to me
And my life starts anew
