High School Bullying
"Donny, Donny, come on son, wake up!", Mom yelled. I could hear the blinds open and feel the warm sensation of the sun's rays hit my face. From the sound of her voice, I could tell this wasn't going to be a good day at all. The random slams and stomping made me motivate a little faster than usual at waking up. (Trust me, you don't want to make her mad on days like these! The mornings you could tell things weren't going as planned.) So, I force myself up to my feet, strech, get a nice blinding glimpse out of the window. From downstairs I could hear my mom shouting at my little brother in the kitchen for spilling some milk on the floor. Typical of his clumsy self! But for some odd reason, Mom is on the edge with her anger. I know after my Dad left a couple of years ago, she has been so stressed over raising my little brother and I, but never this short tempered. I finally got into motion, grabbed some clothes out my dresser and headed for the shower. "Wow", I thought to myself, "Just another day in paradise."

After a long refeshing shower, I head down to the "war zone" called the kitchen. Just like normal routine, I grab a bowl from the cabinet, sit down, and pour me a bowl of Frosted Flakes and start munching away. Then Mom walks in looking calmer than she was earlier. She turns and looks at me with a grin and asks, "So, are you ready? The bus is going to be here in about 10 minutes. "Yeah.", I reply while letting out a sigh. Suddenly, without thinking I blurt out, "Can you take me to school for once?" Oh mistake! Mom replies suddenly, "No! You can ride the school bus! Do you think I want to drive thirty minutes to take you to school? No! You are riding the bus!" I look down at my cereal thinking to myself, "I wish she could understand the torture that I go through everyday...." "Donny, the bus is coming go!", Mom yells. I jump out of my seat, kiss Mom on the cheek, grab my books, and burst out the door. Let the high school torture begin
