a feeling of being alone, used, and washed up
lets get it over
you've strangled my heart
you've crushed my dreams
you've all but torn apart
my love by the seams

you said you didn't love me
that wasn't hard to believe
you said you didn't want to be
the one to deceive

you've all but given up
at least that's how it seems
i've drained the loving cup
the life you need redeems

lets get it over, said and done
take what is yours and i'll take mine
don't worry about the fight you won
i know i crossed the line

we both had mixed feelings
we've both said things to hurt the other
my head says no more dealings
you are the one that gave your love to another
