Creation Mythology Greek Roman Sonnet
Ok. This is a sonnet that I wrote for my Mythology class. I'll have more works that are more recent and a bit more interesting/creative later when it's not 2:50 am and I'm not just setting up my profile.

CREATION SONNET

First it was Chaos who started it all.
no single, infinitesimal thing.
Then came Erebus and Nyx, the nightfall.
Nyx laid an egg and there was love, serene.

From Chaos came Gaea, or Mother Earth,
Who gave birth to Uranos, Father Sky.
Hecatonchires were the first to receive birth.
Cyclopes and Titans, many of whom die.

Cronus and Rhea had kids, lastly Zeus.
Who over threw his dad and freed his kin.
Then came the animals. Hurray for moose.
And now comes men, full of malice and sin.

Thanks to Zeus, there was a great, mighty flood,
And men was born of stone instead of blood.

Well, other then the part about the moose it was fairly half decent. Not to bad for a poem made in about 20 minutes. Just some older stuff for a new portfolio.
