life poetry by Light
miles and miles of lonesome roads
stretch before tear-stained eyes
lying upon a cold dismal ground
forever saturated with the prophesies
of wandering religious lunatics
that take the same path West
looking for the same sanity
that hides from me in the distance
always moving at the same consistency
as my weary feet move
down all of those
miles and miles of lonesome roads
that stretch before tear-stained eyes
like coagulated briar bushes
forever keeping me
from a beautiful flower bed.
