Charred

The heart begins to tear
And so begins the pain
Eating away what isn't there
Driving Me Insane

Tears begin to swell
In pain stricken eyes
The mind is so unwell
It will surely be my demise

All that was once there
Has surely dissipated
It all seems so unfair
Although anticipated

If only the clock would turn
Back into time
Maybe for you I wouldn't yearn
Nothing would've been sublime

Yet, now I am alone
Like all the times before
My actions I cannot condone
