A woman awaits the arrival of her husband . . .
There is a back room inside of this old worn down house
And in this house there is a back room
And in this back room sits a woman full of sadness and regret
There is a man that she once loved that she cannot forget
She has searched for him for many years
She has cried so many sad tears
She sits down at the dinner table and
waits for him to come home
and then waits for him to phone
When darkness falls on this lady's house
all she does is sit in the back room
She keeps hoping that he will come back
to her real soon
There is a back room inside of this old worn down house
And in this house there is a back room
And in this back room sits a woman full of sadness and regret
Now..tell me..who is going to be the one
that tells her he's dead??
