This is a poem dedicated to all my female friends.
You are more than a friend,
You are my sister.
I will be there to see you through it all,
And I will help you up when you fall.

You are a treasure worth more than gold,
You've helped me through more than can be told,
Your words are so sweet and heaven sent,
That they reach through and have bent,
My heart back into shape so that I can love,
The way I did when I was so young and above,
The notion to so strongly distain that it borders on hate.

You gave me your friendship without second guess,
And helped me make sense of a life that was a mess,
You said that I could talk to you if ever the need,
You are a precious jewel and I don't mean to boast,
You taught me to love who I hated the most,
Thank you my friend for being more real than a ghost.
