This piece is about loneliness as something other than a negative feeling.
I slowly slip further
Into an internal sadness.
A silent madness,
My only happiness,
Is having had this
      Hurt.
Something of my own.
My heart's broken home.
A cold empty street,
That my soul walks alone.

A place that I care,
To share with noone I know.
A refuge where only
My thoughts and I can go.

A midnight maze
Love dare not roam.
A bittersweet sadness.
Something of my own.
