A little poem dealing with defeat.
Seep into the ground,
Repent nothing.
Breathe the acidic air,
Think clearly.

          Tis your demise.

You think you've got it,
You think you're almost there.
Yet you cannot feel it in the acidic air.
A shot is rang,
With a loud bang.
Blood dribbles down your chin,
And this fight you thought you could win,
Was swept away with an evil grin.

            Twas your demise.

Keep going, don't stop, don't halt,
Keep running, keep going, this is my assault!
Cramp, cramp, no not a cramp!
They’re catching up, and my face is damp.
It's over, I have lost,
This line of failure I have crossed.

            Twas my demise

This is my defeat,
This is my demise.
Choices I’ve made from being unwise.
For that I am despised.

Seep into the ground,
Repent nothing.
Breathe the acidic air,
Think clearly.

              Tis Your Demise.
