He is not mine to want
I shouldn't allow him even a second glance,
He is somebody else's lover, and man,
I stare at him, with longing in my eyes,
Can he see through this disguise?
I have no right to want this so bad,
Even less of a reason to touch his hand.
Please look at me! It echoes in my head,
But he turns to her each time instead.
I feel like a thief trying to steal him away.
I must, I need, I will have him one day.
A glance, a wave or a slight touch is all,
Sending me into a frenzy, ready to fall.
Independence is nothing, for I would trade mine,
For just one single breath taking night.
Please look at me! It echoes still.
It will haunt me over and over until...
He gives me everything that I'll ever need.
For his body I have nothing but greed.
She wouldn't like the way his eyes shine,
Whenever those orbs are searching mine.
Tell me is it love for her, even now,
Or is he just staying true to the vows?
Please look at me! I'm screaming inside.
I don't care about her, I want him to be mine!
It's so wrong, I know, but he haunts me so.
Dreams of him fill my heart, rouse my soul.
How does she have him, what can I do?
I care not for fidelity when it comes to you.
Leave her behind, fold me in your arms,
I long to be the one you keep warm.
Please look at me! Still it is her.
Will he ever surrender to my magic world?
