A poem about a young teen's veiw of herself.
Confusion.
Mass Hysteria in the brain,
Corruption of the soul,
Overload of pain,
Hot coals in the throat,
Choking.
Dry ash, unspoken words
Fill the lungs.
Constricting.
Contorting the image before me,
Unfamiliar keepsake of sixteen years,
Blurry, Condensed,
Ripped apart.
Shredded inside my
Heart.
