The Myth of it all

On distant shores, where kings and monsters war.
Your beauty outshines the darkness with light.
More perfect and hotter than a new star.
In your graceful presence I take delight.

The old king Midas had the golden touch.
Your smile is worth more than all he turned.
I want be near it ever so much.
After last time our paths crossed,  you I yearned.

With looks that could rival Aphrodite;
embodiment of subtle perfection.
Each breath uttered thanks to the Almighty.
Your bright eyes give me a huge conviction,

that you are the best girl around these parts
as the sun rises on our beating hearts.
