mine must reach ten
He could feel it inside him, knew it was there
The feelings would soon be too much to bear
He'd be hands on knees, letting it all out
The sickness inside would never reside
No company for him but the pressure at his side
Vividly remembering the faces around him
Their faces contorting until it fills him with sorrow
And the night is alive, at the tip of his finger
But tonight he's gonna understand what it feels like to die
Repeating everything is fine and its all a lie
And he'll say it's all in his mind but it all feels so real
His life has been knocked off the even keel
One look over his past and he starts to reel
And he starts looking for anwsers in all the wrong places
Listening to preachers until he realizes talk is useless
And now he only opens his mouth to say what's vital
Rejected what was gifted, the present of a title
And now he just wants to forget, espace from his troubles
But they continue to haunt and resurface
The problems run much deeper than the surface
And he won't go inside to find the root of the problem
Cause he's scared of what he'll find
A venture into his mind like behind enemy lines
And he won't delegate or share the task,
afraid to let anyone see his true self
because surely they'll misjudge and hurt
and thats the only thing i've learnt
there's no life to be lived on this planet earth
