Something I wish he understood more.
The truth always spills
just as the morning light
hits the nightfall.

I have missed you with
my heart,
my soul,
my mind.
My thoughts are covered
in your face
and my heart
has left blood
on your hands.

"I can fix it.
I will love you anyway.
You are still beautiful to me."
A line for a verse
and you are everything
I wanted.
You are everything
I needed.

Your tight arms
hold more harm
than you think,
but I could not run
if I tried.
I could not run
when I tried.

Just one night,
another phone line,
and we are back
to the memories.
But it is not enough
to sicken me.
Let me hear your voice
another time,
I just love the melody.
You sing
and I will listen,
you sing
and I will fade.
But you will
always be there.

The truth always spills
just as the morning light
hits the nightfall.

And you will
always be here.
