Half happy, half depressed poem
~The Tempted~

How can you tempt me so?
That single second, voice of reason saying no.
The kiss.
Heart dancing, full of bliss.
More and more for my heart to miss.

The touch, your hand on mine.
The feeling of committing that secret crime.

The pain of being left alone.
The cold, chilling to the bone.
Love being sucked from this place.
Always wanting to look at your face.

The temptations return.
The heart begins to burn.
The scars of the lost love.

Friendship being ripped apart.
The piercing nails, shot through the heart.
With sadness the holes will be filled.

This pain, for which you shall never understand.
The pain, for which man has always dealt to man.

If you read this, and know who you are~ Please Forgive Me?
