I love to write whatever I'm feeling. I wrote this when my grandfather passed away.
Walking on streets of solid gold
Holding on to every word heard

A magnificent sight to behold
Suffering with unknown language

Seeing the faces of the ones who preceded
Hearing the cries of the ones who remain

One world so beautiful too much to illustrate
The other so painful and oh so fragile

Wanting to go to the great beyond
Wanting to stay with those who care

Two worlds colliding into one
Unable to separate present and future

The faces are so much clearer now
The voices so distant and faint

All you hear is the air escaping
Only seeing light without description

This life is here, no more
Yet just beginning to enjoy forever.
