This is a short poem on Guerrilla warfare and the survival of a mother and her child.
                            In Unity

She carries her baby, her strength is amazing,
Blood soaking through, from the wounds that they bear,
A world with no one to help in the raising,
Mother and child, both shed a tear.

Why did they do this? - helpless woman with child,
The anguish she feels, as she alone cried,
Torture so cruel, as to maim another,
Especially a child, along with her mother.

Guerrilla's in warfare - to all are fair game,
Even mother and child, who don't feel the same,
That one full of hatred can come,  just because,
And ruin two lives, for the sake of their cause.

What right has he got, Guerrilla so selfish,
Inflicting such pain on the meek and the helpless?
Three days she walks in anguish and shame,
For that's what's inflicted, when Guerrilla's they came.

Weakly she calls for help from abroad,
Boldly they come, for they've seen it before.
Much help did they give to this mother and child,
A country so grand, as to help fellow man.

Time passed, they returned home, these two,
Now healed they returned with courage anew,
He failed in his bidding to the other he blighted,
For they arose stronger, and in strength they united.
