the last moment with my grandpa
Each breath was painful to my ears. I can’t bear to look at him. The deafening silence is sickening. Just two weeks ago we were laughing at my cat. And now look at him; he is dying right there in front of me! The seconds seem like hours, and each hour seems like days. I loved this person so much and so any things race through my head before leaving I hug him, kiss his head, and say, “ I love you Grandpa,” and walked out knowing well that I was leaving him to die.
